ACD FotoSlate is easy to use software that gives you complete control in creating printed photo layouts. Flexible viewing options make working on your layouts a pleasure. Any alignment or editing changes you make in FotoSlate won't change your original image.
I thought version 2 was near perfect, but ACD Systems has come up with some great new features. The calendar and greeting card wizards are wonderful additions that work well. If (like me) you don't like to deal with measurements and doing math, you'll love the new paper saver wizard. Just tell it what you want and it creates a template using the most efficient layout. The drop shadows and frame effects didn't impress me so much--more customization options would have been nice.
