Guide Review - PIXresizer from Bluefive Software (Windows)
The purpose of PIXresizer is simply to create reduced copies of your pictures suitable for emailing and posting to the Web. It doesn't actually send the pictures for you; instead it copies them to the folder of your choosing. I would love to see a cropping option added to the program, but otherwise it's very simple to use and does exactly what it's meant to do. Although there is no control over JPEG quality, the program seems to do a good job on its own. PIXresizer requires less than 500 KB on disk, but for some reason, the download is 2.8 MB--a bit large. What more can I say? Oh, yeah... it's free!
