By Sue Chastain, About.com

Easter eggs are hidden program features purposely included by the software programmers. They often reveal secret screens and messages. Here's one to reveal birthday cakes in Adobe Illustrator 8 and up.
Time Required: N/A

Here's How:

  1. Open Illustrator.
  2. If the Brushes Palette is not displayed, show it from the Window menu.
  3. Click the New Brush button on the brushes palette.
  4. Select New Calligraphic Brush and click OK.
  5. Set Angle to 5°.
  6. Set Roundness to 26%.
  7. Set Diameter to 56 pt.
  8. The brush preview changes to birthday cakes!

Tips:

  1. Set the three drop down menus to random and move the variation sliders to rotate, scale and angle the cakes.
  2. Diameter of 56 must be typed in. You can't choose it from the slider.
  3. I wonder who's birthday is on May 26, 1956... hmmmm?
