You can use a custom pattern as a fill for text and other objects in CorelDRAW.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 2 minutes
Here's How:
- Select the type tool, click in your document and type some artistic text.
- Adjust the font and size as desired.
- With the text selected, choose the interactive fill tool.
- Set the fill type to Pattern Fill and click the edit fill button on the property bar.
- In the Pattern Fill dialog choose Bitmap.
- Choose a pattern from the swatch menu, or choose Load... to select a custom pattern from disk. You can use a pattern in any format supported by CorelDRAW.
- Click OK.
Tips:
- If the image you want to use as a fill is larger than the text (non-tiling), import the image and use the PowerClip feature instead.
