Tools and Tips for Working with Pictures in Windows XP

My Mom and my sister both recently got new computers, so they'll finally be leaving Windows 98 behind and entering the world of Windows XP. For them, and for all the other folks that may have gotten new computers in recent months, here are tools and tips for working with pictures in Windows XP.

If you use Windows XP, Microsoft offers several free PowerToys that add functionality to Windows. There are three which are particularly useful for working with pictures: "Image Resizer" adds resizing options to the right-click menu, "CD Slide Show Generator" lets you view a CD of images as a slide show (this one also works with Windows 9x), and "HTML Slide Show Wizard" helps you create a slide show of your digital pictures that you can upload to your Web site.
