Graphics Challenge: Snow Globes

By December 16, 2012

Follow me on:

This week's graphics challenge theme is Snow Globes. Snow globes are thought to have originated in France in the 1800's depicting many scenes as they do today. Usually with a wintery theme, some are musical and mechanical. The idea this week is to make your very own snow globe, so have some fun with it!

The Rules of the Game:
Use your imagination to create an image based on this theme using any graphics software you like, then post your completed image in the discussion forum and please tell us a little bit about what software and techniques you used. This is a great way to experiment and learn from each other.

All levels of users are welcome to participate. You can submit as many versions based on the theme as you like. Remember to try and keep your image sizes to 800x600 pixels or less, and 100kb or less.

If you're not sure how to post images as attachments on the forum, see these instructions. If you have an image or theme idea for a future graphics challenge, please suggest them using the comments link below.
