Graphics Challenge: Christmas Tree Ornament

By December 9, 2012

Follow me on:

This week's graphics challenge theme is Christmas Tree Ornament. Beginning with fruit and nuts, bits of paper and shiny foil to gingerbread cookies... most ornaments were home made. German glass blowers and tinsmiths gave us the style of Christmas tree ornaments we know today. In keeping with the holidays, our challenge theme this week is to create a Christmas Tree Ornament. Make it as plain or ornate as you like and have fun with it!

The Rules of the Game:
Use your imagination to create an image based on this theme using any graphics software you like, then post your completed image in the discussion forum and please tell us a little bit about what software and techniques you used. This is a great way to experiment and learn from each other.

All levels of users are welcome to participate. You can submit as many versions based on the theme as you like. Remember to try and keep your image sizes to 800x600 pixels or less, and 100kb or less.

If you're not sure how to post images as attachments on the forum, see these instructions. If you have an image or theme idea for a future graphics challenge, please suggest them using the comments link below.
