Update (November 7, 2011): Last week, Adobe released Carousel for iOS and Mac. It is available in the iTunes App Store and the Mac App store. You can use Carousel free for the first 30 days and after that a subscription is required.

Have you tried Carousel now that it is out? What advantages does Carousel give you over the new Photo Stream included with iOS 5 and iCloud? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Original post (September 7, 2011):
Today at PhotoshopWorld, Adobe announced Carousel, a solution for synchronizing all your photos across multiple devices and platforms, and for browsing and editing your photos in a familiar environment across all these devices. Carousel will be available later this month for iPad, iPhone and Macintosh, with Windows and Android support following next year.
