Alien Skin Eye Candy 6 Released

This week, Alien Skin released Eye Candy 6, a new version of the special effects plug-in for Adobe Photoshop. Eye Candy includes 30 filters and more than 1000 presets for effects such as fire, animal fur, chrome, marble, glass, smoke, snow, water drops, wood, metal, stone and more.

The new version brings improvements in performance and allows more control over effect scaling. The settings and presets are better organized within categories with Eye Candy 6. The new version also improves on non-destructive editing by giving all the filters the option to draw their output on a new layer. Previously the Eye Candy suite was sold as three separate collections with 10 filters in each collection--Eye Candy 5: Textures, Eye Candy 5: Nature, and Eye Candy 5: Impact.
