New Bamboo Pen & Touch from Wacom

Thursday September 24, 2009
When we started seeing touch sensitive input areas on Wacom tablets, I wondered how long it would be before they came out with fully touch enabled pen tablets. Well, that time has come. Today Wacom introduces a new family of Bamboo tablets with pen and multi-touch input capabilities. The new Bamboo product line includes 5 redesigned Bamboo tablets, each with unique capabilities and benefits.

Was about to shell out the $100 for a bamboo pen and touch until I actually saw the product at Staples and saw that it’s almost twice the size of its cousins, the touch and pen. (Without the active area being that much larger). Deal killer for me.
