Graphics Challenge: Windows

This week's graphics challenge theme is Windows. The last challenge theme was The Doors. With a suggestion from cre8tivechris, this week's theme is Windows. Windows frame the views from the past and give visions of the future, they leave you in solitude or welcome the world inside. So pull back the curtains, and open up the starting images wide, use your imagination and have some fun!

The Rules of the Game:
Use your imagination to create an image based on this theme using any graphics software you like, then post your completed image in the discussion forum and please tell us a little bit about what software and techniques you used. This is a great way to experiment and learn from each other.

All levels of users are welcome to participate. You can submit as many versions based on the theme as you like. Remember to try and keep your image sizes to 800x600 pixels or less, and 100kb or less.
