Drag & Drop Brush Installer for Corel Painter X

Wednesday June 11, 2008
I recently got the chance to test out Christopher Price's new brush installer for Painter X. If you want to install custom brushes from the Internet into Painter, it used to be a complicated process, but this tool makes it dead simple. It's compatible with Painter X on both Windows and Macintosh. He even offers some links to find free brushes online if you need some to test out. Soon, our Painter expert Karen Bonaker will be creating some custom brushes for you to download right here, so stay tuned!

As a Corel Painter Master, artist, author and educator I can firmly tell you all that Chris’ Brush Installer makes it easy to install the brushes now and works perfect. I have tested it on both PC and MAC and it’s a huge time saver! It even makes sure the same brushes are not installed twice by accident. Thanks Chris for all your work on this project and making our job of teaching so much easier also!

One of the most frustrating processes for the beginner Corel Painter user is loading custom brushes. Chris has given the Painter community a real gift. I can hear the sighs of relief!

Thank you Chris!
