Layer Mask Tool for Photoshop Elements
Tuesday May 13, 2008
I've updated the instructions for my Free Layer Mask Tool for Photoshop Elements to work with Photoshop Elements 6 on Mac OS X. The layer mask tool also works in earlier version of Photoshop Elements for Windows and Mac.

I cannot locate the folder c:\programdata\adobe\photoshop elements\6.0\photo creations\photo effects in order to complete the layer mask directions. Where is it??
you probably need to show hidden files and folders, as explained in the instructions.
Hi Sue, your blog and tools are nicely useful, I appreciate it.
A quick question for you about the layer mask tool. I have it installed but I’m having trouble figuring out the steps for using it. I’ve tried making a selection then adding the mask. As well I’ve put the layer mask on a layer then double clicked on the mask thumbnail to then add a selection or paint a mask, but the thumbnail is always blank. I did get a selection once but I’ve been unable to repeat that success. As you can tell, I’m new at this stuff.
thanks
