I have NEVER done graphics before and want to learn 2 things only.
How do I begin to learn to annotate my name on the graphics I already have in My Pictures File Folder..
I want to use them for my 360 page.
360 only takes JPEG graphics.
That’s all I want to do first.
Then, later on, to learn how to change formats of the graphics I have…ie: GIF to JPEG.

I have no experience and didn’t download Pain Shop Pro yet.
Thanks so much.

I am considering different photo editing software, i have never really used any in-depth graphic arts program or anything like that. I dont know if there’s a word for it so this may so stupid but on photo shop or paint shop pro. can you put one picture on top of another as a backround? or can you add a photo object to the backround of a picture?
really handy website by the way.

Lee: Yes, the majority of photo editors will handle those tasks. Have a look here for some starting points: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/pixelbased/a/bybphotoeditor.htm

You should probably add “layers,” so common in photoshop and similar programs, and a related word, “compositing”–more commonly used in video.

(20) Tony King says:

What are “fractals” and “scaling” in graphics? Is there some relationship between the two terms?

January 30, 2012 at 11:51 am
(21) Sue Chastain says:

@Tony: You can learn about Fractals here: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/fractals/ Fractals are infinitely repeating patterns, so as you scale them (zoom in and out) you will always see a pattern.
