Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0.2 Update
Sunday April 1, 2007
Adobe has recently released a patch for Photoshop Elements 5. This patch provides compatibility with Windows Vista, and also corrects an issue where JPEG files from some cameras were losing metadata after being sent to the Editor from the Organizer. However, after installing the patch, you may experience a freeze when you open the Organizer in Photoshop Elements 5.0.2 on Windows Vista. Adobe has posted a workaround to this problem.

I can never seem to find the Sue Chastin sites in About.com – is there a simple index that one can follow. I used to go right to the questions and answers – now I can’t even find them. Finding tutorials also proves to be difficult. Perhaps separating them by calling one PHOTOSHOP and another ELEMENTS might help.
I very much enjoy using the site and have purchased lots of software because of it. The index to the left is for everyone – not just Sue’s. Perhaps there should be a index for each of the writers.
Hi Louise. Thanks for the kind words! If you just bookmark http://graphicssoft.about.com/, then everything in that section is my site–anywhere you see “Graphics Software” next to the About.com logo at the top of the page.
I’ll see what I can do about making the navigation easier. About.com is also working on that for all the sites. I think when you say “the questions and answers” you must mean the discussion forum? If so, then you can go there by clicking “Forums” in the left column.
Is there something specific you need right now that I can help you find?
I tried adobe’s fix, and it didn’t fix squat. Not only that, but it freezes up when I insert my flash drive, and I can’t get to the organizer preferrences to disable Autoloader.
I also unchecked the suggestion in the services box, but that didn’t help either.
Any ideas?
KAW.
