Graphics Challenge: Black and White to Color

This week's graphics challenge theme is Black and White to Color. We have provided two images for you to bring to color. Try one or both of them, it's up to you, but why not try at least one?

Once again, Sharon is the first to submit her image (shown here), created with Corel Painter and Photoshop Elements. Visit the forum for a larger version and to learn more about how she did it.

Use your imagination to create an image based on this theme using any graphics software you like, then post your completed image in the discussion forum and please tell us a little bit about what software and techniques you used. This is a great way to experiment and learn from each other.

All levels of users are welcome to participate. You can submit as many versions based on the theme as you like. Remember to try and keep your image sizes to 800x600 pixels or less, and 100kb or less.
