Converting Pictures for Embroidery Digitizers

By July 24, 2006

Follow me on:

Last week, Tami came to the forum looking for advice on converting a photo to a black and white line drawing for an embroidery machine. I don't know a thing about embroidery digitizing, but thankfully Jim Berton stepped in with some good advice. If you're looking to convert photos or other graphics for use with an embroidery digitizer, you'll want to check out this discussion. And feel free to ask more questions or add your own suggestions and experiences with embroidery digitizing.

Hi, Tammi I’m Kamran from Pakistan and I’m having the business of Picture Embroidery and I’m giving my services as Digitizer to my clients. Actually I’m not the member of this forum but I would like to solve your problem that if you like to convert picture into Black n’ White as verticle thread lines then you’ve to use “Photo Satin” And if you ever had used Wilcom 2006 Embroidery Software then you will never get upset coz its just 2~3 clicks and all is Done …

Its not a big Deal to do such… If you don’t have the Software and you really want to have the Picture Digitized then Forward it to me I’ll do some thing for you and will return this photo after digitizing as soon as possible…

Regards

Kamran
