Free Digital Scrapbook Software: Scrapbook Flair

Friday July 21, 2006
Scrapbook Flair is free digital scrapbooking software for Windows from Aurora Digital Imaging. Formerly sold under the name PhotoOne Print for US$30, Aurora Digital Imaging is now offering the full-featured software as a free download.
The easy-to-use PC software allows people to take photographs from their digital cameras and create scrapbook pages in a matter of minutes... the software also offers a variety of enhanced and unique scrapbooking features, including custom colored backgrounds, balloon text, photo manipulation and designer art work. I browsed through the screen shots and it definitely looks like something worth checking out. If you decide to give it a try, add a comment and let us know how you like it.

I downloaded Scrapbook Flair this morning and I think it is awesome. What else I like is that I can use elements that I have already downloaded. It is quite simple to use and makes wonderful pages. Thanks for sharing this download.

I downloaded Scrapbook Flair but will not be using it. I am truly disappointed that the resolution is 100dpi and below. I like to print out my pages so I will stick to making my own pages in Photoshop. Thanks for the link though.

I downloaded ScrapbookFlair software for about a month ago and on my printer (Epson photo printer), the printouts look great when I print 8×10 or 8.5×11. I was also able to export from the software at 300 dpi and printed some gift 11×14s at a local photolab – they looked awesome and made really special gifts. Biggest problem I found with software is organizing my images/artwork – but U can’t beat it 4 free. Sam

I down loaded it this morning and it works really well. the print outs are very clean and crisp (I think Laura must have done something wrong). Anyway, this is a really neat package for free software. If you like to scrap book, they have lots of good backgrounds and embellishments that you can down load for free. This was a great find. Thanks!

Sue, I love this new Scrapbookflair site. The software is very simple and easy to use, and the website really is fun. You can email people, and make public and private galleries, do blogs, etc. Anyway, the free software really is free, and the art work is also free. So far nobody has tried to get any money from me, so I am loving this. Thanks again.

I spent all day playing on this website yesterday. I call it playing because it was so much fun. I have tried other scrapbook sottwares and they really were complex to say the least. I think you need a master degree to run photoshop. The bottom line is that this was really easy and made pretty nice pages, anad mine will get nicer with practice. I have already been sharing them with friends and family members in my own gallery and have even managed to get a fan or two who like my style. I think anyone interested in digital scrapbooks should give this a try. It is actually FREE (not like that come on from that MAX company). Keep up the good work finding such fun website.

If you are new to Digtial Scrapbooking, this is the program to start with. As the others above have mentioned, learning is fast and intuitive, While it is easy-to-use, the pages one can create as as complex or as simple as one wants.

Unlike Photoshop Emements or Paint Sho Pro, there is hardly any learning curve at all.

In addition, the site offers free backgrounds, embellishments and templates. You can’t go wrong.

I have never done any digital scrapbooking and downloaded this free software and I absolutely love it. I have really been able to put together some great pages…and am actually going to use them to put a scrapbook together for my mother-in-law. What an easy program to use too !!

This software is amazing! It truly is easy to use. Sure it might not have all the bells and whittles of photo shop but it is much easier in the wallet and defiantly much easier to use. I recommend this 100%
