Photo Restoration: Before and After

In the discussion forum, OzGirl writes: "I love restoring old photos. If I can bring someone's loved - but damaged photos back to life - I get great satisfaction from it... I am such a sucker for before and after shots, and here is a piece that I did for a client. Some of it had to be 'rebuilt' - like the dogs collar and the tears and missing pieces around the edges, the colour/contrast adjusted. The end result is usually a very nice black and white photo of the original, however there are some photos that just look better as a 'sepia' colour. The client was very happy with the end result - especially since it was the only photo she had of her mum as a child." Visit the forum to see a larger image and post a comment.• Read or Post Comments

With the photo restoration technology that is available there is no need for your damaged photos to be relegated to the bottom of a storage box.
