Graphics Challenge: Tattoo

Sunday January 8, 2006
Got ink? This week's graphics challenge theme is Tattoo. Here's your chance to spread some pixel ink on virtual skin. Maybe you would like to see how that tat' you've been wanting will look, or you might have some crazy ink going on already. Either way, we've given you an assortment of images to start with, so get out your needles and ink and use your imaginations on these.

Download one or more of the starting images below, and use it as the basis for a new image based on this theme, using your imagination and any graphics software you like. Then post your completed image in the discussion forum and tell us a little bit about what software and techniques you used.

All levels of users are welcome to participate. You can submit as many versions based on the theme as you like. Remember to try and keep your image sizes to 800x600 pixels or less, and 100 KB or less.

If you're not sure how to post images as attachments on the forum, see these instructions. If you have an image or theme idea for a future graphics challenge, please suggest them using this form.
