Show Off Your Work and Get Feedback

Friday February 11, 2005
The "Show and Tell" folder in the Discussion Forum has really been hopping lately. Did you know you could post your work and get feedback on it, or offer commentary on other members work?

If you're not a member yet, first you'll need to join. Next enter the forum using this link, which will put you in advanced mode where you have the capability of posting attachments. When you compose a new message, there will be a button labeled "Options" next to the Post, Preview, and Cancel buttons (screen shot). Click that to reveal the upload form (screen shot). (If you don't see an attach files button, you're probably still in basic mode. The link above should switch you, but if it doesn't, see the instructions for switching from basic to advanced mode. You can also add an attachment to a message you have already posted, by clicking the "Edit" button on your message. If you have problems you can get help here.)

There is a 1 MB limit on attachments per member, so try to keep your attachments small. JPEG format is best for photos and GIF or PNG format for lineart and illustrations.

Oh, and be sure to give us a little background information on what you're posting... what software you used, techniques employed, and so on.
