CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12 is Here
Inside the box there are 4 CDs including one with training from Lynda.com, a 500-page User Guide, and a thick, spiral-bound User Content Guide. All the extras Corel users have come to appreciate are still there. Besides the staples (CorelDRAW, Photo-Paint, and R.A.V.E.) there is CorelTRACE, CorelCAPTURE, Bitstream Font Navigator, plus tons of clipart, fonts, photos and objects.
Unfortunately, Macintosh development of the CorelDRAW Suite was dropped with this release, and Windows 95/98/NT users are being left behind as well. But rumor has it that this is a rock-solid release so I am looking forward to checking it out. I'm especially excited about trying the new smart drawing feature that recognizes shapes when you sketch them and smooths curves as you draw.
From Corel: CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12 is available today at the U.S. suggested retail price of $399 for the full product, $179 for the upgrade product, and $99 for the education version.
