Improvising with Layers - Turning the Unusable into Art

Tuesday September 9, 2003
Book Review: Creative Thinking in PhotoshopOver on Creativepro.com, Sharon Steuer shows you how, through experimentation and the use of layers, she turned a badly exposed photo into something not only usable, but with an artistic flair to it. The end result even has a bit of an Andy Warhol feel to it. [Creative Thinking in Photoshop: Improvising with Layers] (If you don't have Photoshop, you should be able to follow along with any photo editor that has layers.)

Sharon shows you many more techniques like this in her book, Creative Thinking in Photoshop, so come back and read my review. Folks with cable can watch Sharon demonstrate this project on Tech TV's "The Screen Savers" this Thursday. Check your cable listings for local times.
